2025 Annual Consumer Statement
The Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association (MCCA) is a model of financial stability and success that has effectively served the state as a nonprofit re-insurer, enabling insurance companies to provide no-fault coverage that supports the medical care of those who have been catastrophically injured in auto crashes, without which Michigan’s unique option of unlimited Personal Injury Protection would not be possible.
Plan of Operation
Section 500.3104 provides that the MCCA establish a Plan of Operation outlining the administration of the Association. Section 500.3104 and the Plan of Operation are the key documents governing the MCCA.
